Chester County Restaurant Festival Coming to West Chester This Month

The 42nd annual Chester County Restaurant Festival is coming in just a few weeks.

Food and beverage lovers unite for the Chester County Restaurant Festival coming to West Chester on Sept. 17 for a day of good eats, fun company, and tasty drinks, writes Holly Herman for the West Chester Patch.

The 42nd annual festival will take place from 12 PM to 5:30 PM and it is free to attend. It will be held on Gay Street from Matlack to Darlington streets. A rain date is set for Sept. 24.

The event will have entertainment such as bands performing at Darlington Street, local artisans, information booths, and food vendors from all over the county. There will be an array of more than 40 vendors serving gourmet, ethnic, and unique foods of their creation. There will be a Beer and Wine Garden to enjoy beverages as well.

The event is set to benefit the West Chester Parks and Recreation Department.

Additionally, Gay Street will continue to be closed off on the weekend through Oct. 29 for restaurants and vendors alike to set up tables, booths, and more.
