The Friends of Chester County Library Fall Book Sale is scheduled to take place from Oct. 6 to 8, 2023. The event will feature a wide range of books, music, movie CDs, and DVDs available at discounted prices, including a substantial collection of children’s books in a dedicated room.

On Friday, Oct. 6, the sale will start at 6 PM and will be exclusively accessible to members of the Friends of the Chester County Library. Membership can be obtained on Friday evening, starting at 5 PM, at the membership table or in advance by completing the membership form, which is available at the Library or on their website.

The following day, Saturday, Oct. 7, the sale will be open to the general public from 9:30 AM to 4 PM.

On Sunday, Oct. 8, from 1 to 4 PM, the event will host a ‘Bag Sale Day,’ where attendees will receive a bag that they can fill with books and then pay $10 (or just $7 per bag for Friends members). For those who wish to purchase fewer books than a full bag, the items will be sold at half price.

The Book Sale will accept payment in the form of cash, checks, or PayPal, with all proceeds going toward benefiting the Chester County Library.
