Brightside Farm in Malvern is perfect for a family walk — and it is sunny to boot. It offers a paved one-mile loop that should not take more than 20 minutes to complete. 

If you prefer your solitude when walking, ChesLen Preserve in Coatesville is the right spot for you. This sprawling, idyllic natural oasis will serve you gorgeous pastoral views and glimpses of wildlife. 

Meanwhile, Stroud Preserve in West Chester offers hilly woodland trails and a variety of terrain that are ideal for hikers looking for a bit of a challenge. 

Valley Creek Trail in Malvern has plenty of vibrant flora and fauna along with a waterfall and a covered bridge that makes for great photo opportunities. 

Finally, Harmony Hill in Downingtown is challenging enough to be good for a quick walk or a half-day hike.
