The Philadelphia Eagles’ official shop at Lincoln Financial Field released throwback merchandise just over a week ago, and already during practice sessions the stadium’s stands are filled with kelly green jerseys, reports Aunyea Lachelle for NBC10 Philadelphia.

In fact, the kelly green jerseys might be “the hottest item in Eagles history ever,” said Emily McNichol, Director of Merchandise for Philadelphia Eagles. “We’re so grateful that Jeffrey [Lurie] spearheaded this project and that we’re selling these in our three stores.”

She added that the team currently has “pretty good inventory, and we’d love for you to come visit us.”

While the merchandise is new, it is also a throwback to the Philadelphia Eagles of old and as such it comes complete with a feeling of nostalgia for many of the fans.

Among the new items on offer are the coveted Jalen Hurts replica jersey, a sideline T-shirt, and several different hats, all in the kelly green color.

“As soon as we wear our kelly green jerseys in October you’ll start to see all these goods on our players and on our coaches as well,” said McNichol.
