On Aug. 8, the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce is hosting their Taste of the Farm event, in conjunction with the Chester County 4-H Fair. The event is held from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Romano 4-H Center in Honey Brook. Taste of the Farm is a farmers-market style event that brings together local agriculture businesses and the community to celebrate the powerful impact agriculture has on the western Chester County region. 

Local farm products will be available for purchase at the event, including fresh produce, beef, goat cheese, honey, and more. Taste of the Farm welcomes the community to meet local farmers face-to-face, patronize locally grown products, and learn the significance of Chester County’s agriculture community. Along with offerings from vendors, the event will also feature a food truck and an ice cream truck. 

Agriculture plays a vital role in Chester County’s community, being home to a large portion of mushroom production and a top-ranking county for dairy farm production. The Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce aims to support different agricultural initiatives and you can too, at Taste of the Farm.
