Kennett Square’s Longwood Gardens to Host Summer of Fountain Festivals, Live Music
Kennett Square’s botanical splendor Longwood Gardens is having a melodic upcoming season. The Festival of Fountains incorporates over 1,000 jets for an illuminated performance to songs from popular musicians, such as David Bowie and Taylor Swift, and more, writes Natalie Jason for 6ABC.
While the Festival of Fountains runs through September, there are still other performances you can catch.
“We actually have more fountains than any other garden in the United States,” said Patricia Evans, Public Relations Officer at Longwood.
Daytime performances are daily through October. Illuminated performances at the Main Fountain Garden run multiple times a week. In addition to the dancing water, there are also live musical performances in the gardens.
Live music and concerts are at the weekends, including the Wine & Jazz Festival.
