It’s a consideration that goes into any playground, park, or streetscape design.

Now there’s equipment that can easily accommodate your needs.

General Recreation in Newtown Square is offering a new line of DuMor products, providing a versatile series of seating using interchangeable supports and seats.

The DuMor 520 series seating provides versatility and custom design for your project.

DuMor products can be seen in places like Hersheypark, Penn State University, and the City of Philadelphia, as well as Walt Disney resorts and parks, Ruby Tuesday restaurants, Riverwalk, the Memphis Zoo, the City of Cape May, and the City of Boston.

Meander through a landscape with the 520 series elegantly connected straight and curved benches, tables, and seat islands.

There are a limitless number of combinations that can be created and drawn to your specifications.

The equipment is offered as standalone or wall mounted and is available in IPE, recycled plastic, wood grain recycled plastic, and thermally modified red oak.

There are optional backrests, angle connectors, center, and end armrests, and table options.

DuMor, Inc. began operations in 1984 with two employees, its founders, M. Richard Rudy and Donald E. Saner, and 4,800 square feet of newly constructed manufacturing space in Mifflintown, PA.

Today the family business has reached into second and third generations.

It now operates in a facility totaling nearly 85,000 square feet and its standard product line has expanded to include over 78 bench designs, over 35 receptacle designs, more than 23 table designs as well as planters, ash urns, bollards, bike racks, and grills in a full range of colors and materials such as wood, steel, aluminum, and recycled plastic.

The company can also produce custom pieces.

It focuses on green manufacturing, using the highest percentage of post-consumer and post-industrial content steel, the highest quality recycled plastic, and as much wood as possible from mills that harvest on a sustained yield basis.
