S&T Bank has organized a partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a non-profit organization whose mission is to change the lives of children with cancer by funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.

S&T Bank branch locations in the Central and Southeastern PA markets will be participating in Lemonade Days from June 3 to June 11, 2023. Lemonade Days is a nationwide event where ALSF supporters host lemonade stands to raise money for childhood cancer research and awareness for ALSF’s mission.

“S&T Bank is honored to participate in ALSF’s Lemonade Days to help in the fight against pediatric cancer,” said Jason Forman, director of consumer banking for S&T Bank. “These small acts of kindness can lead to big results and we hope our communities will join us to help make a difference.”

This annual tradition started with ALSF’s eight year old founder, Alex Scott. She set a goal of raising $1 million for her doctors to help kids like her fight cancer. Inspired by her actions, people across the country hosted their own stands, and Alex lived to see her $1 million goal reached before she passed away in 2004.

“We are delighted that S&T Bank chose to join us for Lemonade Days this June! Their team members and customers will truly help us make a difference for kids with cancer,” said Liz Scott, Alex’s mom and co-executive director of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

S&T Bank and ALSF invite all community members to come out to Central and Southeastern PA S&T branch locations and make a difference in childhood cancer research, all with simply one cup of lemonade.
