See Which Chester County Towns Are Among Places with Most Expensive Homes in Pennsylvania

Chester County is home to seven towns that are among the top 30 places with the most expensive homes in Pennsylvania, according to a ranking by Stacker

To compile the list, Stacker used data from Zillow. Places are ranked based on the Zillow Home Values Index for all homes as of September 2022. 

Malvern ranked highest in sixth place with a median home value of $672,862. The number represents a one-year value increase of 12.1 percent and a five-year increase of a whopping 40 percent. 

Chester Springs also broke into the top ten in seventh place. Its median home value is $661,000, which is a one-year value increase of 12.9 percent and a five-year increase of 39.5 percent. 

Glenmoore is next in No. 12 with a median home value of $586,401, followed by West Chester at No. 15 with a $564,518 average price. Paoli follows in No. 19 with a typical home value of $540,174. 

The list is rounded out with Exton in No. 20 with a $534,986 average home price and Kennett Square at No. 21 with $531,245.
