Director of Campus Operations

Applications for this full-time position will be taken until April 1, 2023.

The Director of Campus Operations will think and act strategically, build relationships, and use sound business practices to further position Dunwoody as the community of choice in the region.

This position is responsible for the oversight of campus operations, including buildings and infrastructure, maintenance, grounds, security, environmental services, renovation, and construction.

Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of large, complex campuses, facilities and construction management, construction principles, practices, and procedures, vendor and contract management, applicable laws and government regulations related to healthcare, principles of management and supervision, and departmental policies and procedures.

The successful applicant will:

  • Embody and articulate the vision and mission of the organization inside and outside of the community
  • Uphold the Dunwoody Village Code of Conduct
  • Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Department of Health, Department of Human Services, and Life Safety
  • Lead in a manner that consistently promotes collaboration, trust, openness, honesty, integrity, empowerment, and shared accountability for success
  • Exhibit leadership and management skills necessary to ensure that all departments provide exceptional service
  • Act as the organization’s Safety Officer; Chair the safety committee
  • Cultivate and maintain constructive communication with residents, staff members, contractors, and members of the community at large
  • Promote a workplace culture that attracts, supports, empowers, and retains all members of campus operations

The following experience, education, and credentials are required:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent trade school education
  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience overseeing multiple large departments with experience in healthcare/CCRC strongly preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of energy management and all plant facilities systems including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Demonstrated ability to read and prepare blueprints for the purpose of installation, construction, and repairs. Experience with construction projects is preferred.
  • Strong operational management skills combined with a commitment to creativity that allows for continued improvement in quality, productivity, and financial position of the facility operations.
  • Understanding and commitment to sound fiscal management including but not limited to operational and capital budgets, A/P, and charge capture.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Dunwoody Village is seeking dedicated and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join its team for a Full Time 3 PM to 11:30 PM position. 

Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA Job Duties include:

  • Providing exceptional resident care according to the approved Plan of Care
  • Assisting residents with personal care and hygiene
  • Providing a safe environment for our residents
  • Complying with all documentation and record-keeping requirements
  • Must have current Pennsylvania CNA certification and CPR certification
  • Possess excellent written/verbal communication, documentation, and computer skills

Applicants must have a current Pennsylvania CNA certification and CPR certification.

Long-Term Care experience is preferred but not required. Dunwoody Village will train caring individuals who demonstrate a keen desire to work with older adults. All applicants interested in full-time must be available to work within a weekend and holiday rotation.

Registered/Licensed Practical Nurse

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join its team for a Full Time 3 to 11:30 PM position.

This position would also work as our Nurse Responder to the residents in our Residential Living. Dunwoody Village is also excited to have new starting rates for all positions and will pay for experience!

Applicants must have at least 1 year of experience as an RN or LPN in Long Term Care, Rehab, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing. All applicants interested in full-time must be available to work within a weekend and holiday rotation.

Applicants must also have a valid Pennsylvania license as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse with CPR certification.

Primary nursing duties include:

– Provide exceptional resident care according to the Plan of Care

– Provide a safe environment for our residents

– Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements (utilizing Point Click Care)

– Possess excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and computer skills

Dunwoody Village has an excellent nurse-to-resident ratio of one nurse for 20 residents along with the support of 2 to 3 certified nursing assistants per unit. The rehab floor follows an even stronger ratio by staffing 2 nurses for 21 residents with the support of 3 certified nursing assistants.
