Assistant Dining Room Manager

This full-time position will be responsible for staff recruitment, training, and supervision; scheduling, coordinating events, and overseeing the bar and bartender during days of service.

.Dunwoody Village has completed the renovations of its dining rooms and food service venues as part of a $24 million capital project.

The Assistant Dining Room Manager will work closely with the Dining Room Manager and Director of Dining Services during the project and will have the unique opportunity to impact the new venues successfully by training and recruiting staff to serve residents.

A successful candidate requires:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a dining-related supervisory/managerial role
• A strong desire to provide exceptional dining services to older adults
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in fine dining and/or country club setting
• Superb customer service and organizational skills
• Long-term care experience is strongly preferred but not necessary
• Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, family members, and all levels of management
• Comfortable with interviewing potential new staff members
• RAMP and/or ServSafe certification strongly preferred
• Experience with point-of-service systems

This job requires working varied shifts – including some nights, some weekends, and participating in a holiday rotation.

Fine Dining Cook

This full-time position comes with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking two experienced cooks.

With renovations complete at its dining rooms and foodservice venues as part of a $24 million capital project, this is an exciting time to be part of Dunwoody’s food service team. The completed project includes three brand-new dining venues and two state-of-the-art kitchens.

The ideal candidates will have:

• At least 2 years of experience; fine dining experience in a CCRC setting is strongly preferred.
• The ideal candidate must be willing to work with all levels of staff and management and should have experience in both hot and cold food preparation.
• Candidates must also be available to work during various shifts on weekends, holidays, and during special functions, as scheduled
• Applicants without relevant experience will not be considered for this position.**

Utility Worker

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking someone for a Full-Time Utility Worker. 

This position will work from Noon to 8 PM and is responsible for the cleanliness of all kitchen and dish room areas.

This position will also be responsible for ensuring all areas of the kitchen are clean and closed after the dinner shift and ready for the following day’s meal service.
