If you’re looking for the best date night restaurants, these local spots offer tasting menus for ease of ordering and the chance for chefs to show off their creativity, writes Jenn Ladd for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

While these popular places to eat in the Chester County area supply different dishes and appetizers, fixed-price meals such as tasting menus tend to have a higher price tag, but deliver well on the exciting dining experience.

Starting off, Andiario was recently named on of The New York Times‘ top restaurant in the nation, guaranteeing both delicious food and the need for a reservation. The West Chester location handles local ingredients, handmade pastas, and more. AT $75 per person, there are also great wine pairings available.

There are two fan favorites in Kennett Square.

First, market-cafe Talula’s Table transforms after 7 PM to serve up their original tasting menu. Although parties between 4 to 8 guests or more tend to be booked as far out as a year in advance. Yet the experience is worth it: a four-hour, eight-course meal specially designed for your party.

Next, chef Scott Morozin at Verbena BYOB offers a menu that changes weekly to monthly, but always has a seasonal creation in mind. Fall hits can include a butternut squash soup with apple-honey relish and slow-roasted pork loin with kabocha squash.

Finally, if you want to inch your way over county lines, The Silverspoon in Wayne is known for its brunch, but also works up quite the appetite for its dinner menu. Chef Ron Silverberg’s recent menu, “Shore to Shore,” featured Maine scallops wrapped in thick-cut bacon, New Jersey peach crostini, and other mouthwatering delights.
