The Farmhouse at People's Light located in Malvern gives you the perfect 'rustic' feel for your special day.

A barn house wedding in Chester County for folks who appreciate the countryside is right around the corner with quaint and historical barn venues for your perfect day. These farmhouses have the perfect rustic atmosphere for when you and your soon-to-be spouse say “I do,” writes Joy Franklin for PhillyBite Magazine.

The Farmhouse at People’s Light in Malvern hails from the 18th century. The venue features award-winning English gardens where you can tie the knot. The space also offers a ballroom, a pavilion with cathedral ceilings, and an onsite culinary team to make seasonal dishes for up to 175 guests.

Also located in Malvern, the 16-acre venue High Point lives up to its name with its high-vaulted ceilings and hilltop meadow that overlooks the Chester County countryside. This secluded venue is accessed by a wooded winding road and has a patio with a charming view of a labyrinth.

If you want to spend time overnight at the venue, you and your guests can stay at the High Point Manor, a charming five-bedroom house. Its maximum capacity is at 200.

Head over to Honeybrook where the Brandywine Manor House offers three outdoor ceremony locations. This historical setting comes with a ballroom and requires a minimum of 20 guests. The two-half story manor house was originally constructed as a log cabin in the 18th century by James and Jane Mackelduff.
