The Lincoln Center for Family and Youth (“TLC”) in Audubon is a social enterprise company serving the Greater Philadelphia Area for over 50 years.

Founded in 1970 and incorporated in 1983, TLC is an entrepreneurial nonprofit providing innovative education, coaching, and counseling services to public school students and their families. Lincoln Center positions cover a range of occupations.

Hiring is underway for the following Lincoln Center positions:

School-based Counselor (Montgomery County)

The School-based Counselor provides full-time early intervention therapy and counseling services in a designated school district, along with case management and mental health support services at the school and in the homes of at-risk students.

The counselor also provides consultation services to school personnel, liaison support to community agencies, and training programs for school and community populations.

This person should have excellent communication and relationship-building skills. They must work effectively on a multi-treatment tea.

Proficiency in numerous clinical interventions is required, along with a knowledge of and ability to access community resources, with strong substance abuse intervention skills.

This position requires a Master’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, social work or a related field.

A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) designation is preferred and may be required in some schools.

School Psychologist

The School Psychologist will work with elementary, middle, and/or high school students at a designated school district to support students’ ability to learn and teachers’ ability to teach.

They will apply expertise in mental health, learning and behavior to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.

This person will partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community.

Leadership and soft skills required for this position include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good organizational and time management skills and the ability to work effectively on a multi-treatment team.

The applicant should have a good working knowledge of mental health and the treatment of affective and behavioral disorders.

They should also have a good working knowledge of principles, methods and procedures for diagnosis and treatment.

This position requires a Master’s degree in education or psychology.

Certification as a school psychologist in Pennsylvania is also required. Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.

Creative Arts Therapist

The School-Based Creative Arts Therapist will work with K-12 students who have experienced anxiety, trauma, depression, post-traumatic stress, and other behavioral or mental health challenges.

It is preferred that the therapist specializes in dance/movement therapy; however, other acceptable modalities include visual arts, music, or other related therapies (drama, poetry, recreational).

The position requires strong client relationship-building skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively on a multi-treatment team, strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

The application should be proficient in numerous clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a knowledge and ability to access community resources.

A Master’s degree is required in counseling, psychology or a related field.

Certification is required in creative arts therapy such as Dance/Movement Therapist (DMT) or (BC-DMT), Registered Arts Therapist (ATR or ATR-BC), Music Therapist (MT or BC-MT), or other related creative arts certifications.

The applicant should have expertise in providing creative arts therapy to all age groups.
