Assistant Director of Residence Life for Residence Education 

This position will execute Resident Assistant staff recruitment, selection, evaluations, and training processes, as well as communicate with students, parents, and families regarding community living matters. Other responsibilities include supervising Area Coordinators, graduate Hall Directors, and the Resident Assistant team. 

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s in Education or related, and three years of experience in housing and residence life, as well as three years of experience in supervisory work. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to diversity, social justice, equity, and inclusion and be experienced in crisis assessment and intervention.

Data Scientist for Office of Institutional Research 

This position will design and implement research projects, perform appropriate statistical testing to determine program effectiveness, and develop and maintain dashboards, data visualization, and reports. 

The ideal candidate must have a master’s in Statistics, Data Science, or other Quantitative field or a bachelor’s in the same field with one year of work experience. Candidates should have technical experience with statistical software tools and experience with big data, data architecture, and data management.

Temporary Instructor of Educational Psychology 

This position will teach assigned classes, provide students with support during office hours, and provide in-person teaching and instructional learning on WCU’s campus. Some of these classes include Middle Grades Cognition, Educational Psychology, and Adolescent Development and Learning. 

The ideal candidate should have a master’s degree in Educational Psychology, experience with teaching pedagogies including multimodal and virtual, and experience working with diverse populations and/or multicultural teaching experience.
