Centric Bank has appointed Michael Ciavarelli to the position of Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer in Devon.

Ciavarelli will be responsible for developing new SBA lending opportunities with current and prospective customers in the suburban Philadelphia market, along with partnering with internal sales team members to secure commercial deposit and cash management relationships.

One of Ciavarelli’s main focuses will be on the SBA’s loan program, which is directed toward business acquisitions and expansions and real estate purchases. 

He has worked in the banking industry for more than 30 years, most recently with WSFS Bank as an SBA Lender. Throughout his career, he has served in business development and as a relationship manager and retail branch manager. 

Ciavarelli attended the University of Virginia, Retail School of Banking, where he graduated from its Certificate Program.

He is a member of both the Delaware County and New Castle County chambers of commerce and is an advisor to the Delaware County Society of Certified Public Accountants, SCORE, and the Small Business Development Center program at Widener University and The University of Delaware.

As a highly involved individual within his community, Ciavarelli is also a member of a local parish council and on the board of his swim club.
