A previously unreleased live album from Bruce Springsteen of his 1995 concert at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby became available last week, writes Nate Todd for

The live concert was recorded Dec. 9, 1995, during Springsteen’s first solo tour promoting his album The Ghost of Tom Joad.

The concert is newly mixed and the complete show is available for the first time at

The concert album features 22 songs. A track off the Joad album, “Galveston Bay” is part of the album preview of the Tower Theater concert.

There were rumors in early 1995 that the E Street Band, which hadn’t toured with Springsteen since the late 1980s, would launch a reunion tour.

But The Boss had other plans.

While the band joined up in early 1995 to record songs in the studio for Springsteen’s Greatest Hits album, Springsteen spent the rest of 1995 recording his solo LP, The Ghost of Tom Joad.

He also launched his first and longest solo tour ever. Springsteen’s appearance at the Tower Theater was the 10th concert date on the tour, according to Wikipedia. The tour launched Nov. 22, 1995 and didn’t wrap up until May 26, 1997.
