CCRES, Downingtown, specializes in providing over 1,500 professional, dedicated staff members to meet the needs of children and adults challenged by autism, behavioral health issues, mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. It works in collaboration with school districts, intermediate units and the behavioral health system.

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) — Coatesville

The personal care assistant opening seeks a field employee to provide 1:1 emotional and behavioral interventions at two Coatesville locations (currently). The position works all student days, making it appropriate for a parent looking for employment when his or her children are in class.

A PCA must have a high-school diploma (or equivalency) and Pa. child abuse clearances. Experience with children with autism is preferred.

Special Education Teacher — Chester County

These positions will be located at various programs throughout Chester County. Part-time and full-time work schedules are available, and flexible days can be considered, making this an opportune career move for a recent retiree.

The daily pay rate for a special education teacher is $500.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Downingtown

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a direct service (face-to-face) provider in the adult day program, He or she supports consumers in community settings, using a person-centered planning approach to assist individuals in acquiring, maintaining, and improving self-help, domestic, socialization, and adaptive skills.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but can be flexed, with a DSP working 2-3 days between Mondays and Fridays.

The role’s location is the Achieve program, 150 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Suite 430, Downingtown, and the position comes with 11 paid annual holidays.
