Fast-growing startup LinkBank is looking to enhance its Chester County presence as it approaches $1 billion in assets, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Led by longtime Pennsylvania banking executive Andrew Samuel, the startup is relocating its West Chester branch to nearby West Goshen.

“The visibility of the branch was awful,” said Samuel. “It was hard to find. We are growing rapidly in Chester County, so we felt it was important to relocate to a more visible site.”

LinkBank was formed three years ago when it acquired the charter of long-struggling Stonebridge Bank. LinkBank and its parent company, Linkbancorp, are headquartered in Camp Hill.

In addition to its West Chester and Camp Hill locations, LinkBank has added a site in Lancaster County and has filed a request to open a location in Harrisburg.

The West Chester location at 6045 Willowbrook Lane will now relocate to 1436 Pottstown Pike in neighboring West Goshen.

“We see some terrific opportunities in both Chester and Lancaster counties,” Samuel said. “We have some great ties from the First National Bank of Chester County team.”
