The John W. Jacobs Technology Center at the Chester County Library is offering the following Virtual Tech Tuesday workshops:
Introduction to Geocaching
May 25 from 7-8:30 PM
Learn what geocaching is and how to get started. Review useful geocaching skills, tips and techniques, and good practices.
Introduction to Excel
June 1 from 7-8:30 PM
This workshop is a basic introduction to Microsoft Excel. Learn the Excel environment, entering and editing data, using basic functions, formatting worksheets, and creating charts.
Intermediate Excel (Charts and Formulas)
June 8 from 7-8:30 PM
This workshop is designed to help the participant begin using some intermediate-level charts and formula commands. Topics include multiple charts from a single worksheet; appearance and location of charts; selected date, autosum, logical, and lookup functions; simple links to other files; and relative/absolute cell addresses.
Intermediate Excel (Tables and Printing)
June 15 from 7-8:30 PM
This workshop is designed to help the participant to begin using some intermediate-level table and print commands. Topics include using tables, filters, automatic table formats, and the sorting feature; inserting a pivot table based on sample table information; printing Excel worksheet information by means of print ranges and other range names; and reviewing some of the Excel print options.
