PSGV Part of a Consortium of Local Universities to Host STEM Education Expo on Tuesday, Thursday
PhillyColleges – a consortium of more than 20 colleges and universities, including Penn State Great Valley, located in Greater Philadelphia – will virtually host The 2021 STEM Education Expo on Tuesday, April 20 for undergraduate programs and Thursday, April 22 for graduate programs.
The two-day event offers attendees the opportunity to connect with representatives from several local colleges and universities offering STEM degree programs.
Greater Philadelphia is home to one of the richest networks of colleges and universities in the country. It can be difficult for regional employers to access such a diverse network for their training, development, and employment needs; PhillyColleges was birthed over 10 years ago from the desire to bridge that gap.
By tapping into the PhillyColleges network, individuals will have the ability to easily connect to local colleges and universities and their resources specifically geared toward the adult learner population.
Penn State Great Valley offers master’s degrees, graduate certificates, and non-credit professional development programs relevant to today’s workplace. Its programs combine the research, theory, and hands-on experience needed to strengthen leadership skills and technical knowledge of working adults and recent college graduates. Designed to meet the demands of work, family, and life in general, Penn State Great Valley’s courses are offered in flexible formats.
West Chester University, Immaculata University, and Neumann University are also members of PhillyColleges.
