N.Y. Times: Chester County’s COVID-19 Cases Remain Roughly the Same, Keeping the Risk Level Very High

The number of cases has remained about the same over the last two weeks, keeping Chester County at a very high risk level for the coronavirus, according to The New York Times.

The numbers of hospitalized patients and COVID-19-related deaths have fallen once again compared to two weeks ago, while the test positivity rate is now relatively low.

In the past two weeks, an average of 87 cases per day was reported in the county, which is about the same as two weeks ago. Since the start of the outbreak, approximately one in 16 residents have been infected.

Meanwhile, the average I.C.U. occupancy was at 62 percent as of March 11.

December remains the month with the highest number of reported cases in Chester County.
