Check Out Where COVID-19 Has Spread the Most, Least in Chester County in the Last Seven Days

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Chester County has continued to decrease over the past seven days, although some areas remain more infected than others, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code statewide for the seven days ending March 10, compared to the infection rates for the seven days prior.

The highest percentage increase in new cases in Chester County during this period was in ZIP Code 19087 (Chesterbrook), which recorded an increase of 5.71 percent to reach 1,278 cases.

ZIP Code 19460 (Phoenixville) is next with an increase of three percent, which brought it to 1,901 cases.

Meanwhile, a growing number of places are now reporting less or no growth in their number of cases.

These include ZIP Code 19311 (Avondale) with an increase of just 0.62 percent and ZIP Code 19330 (Cochranville), which reported a 0.32 percent increase in cases.
