Centric Bank has promoted several members of its Credit Department, which has been integral in the management and processing of loan applications for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program. The Credit Department played a critical role in helping to save businesses in central Pennsylvania and suburban Philadelphia, as well as more than 20,000 jobs.

The Credit Department has been restructured into three underwriting teams to be led by Kevin Kelly, David Connor, and Elizabeth Troup, all with the new title of Credit Analyst Team Lead. The three teams report directly to Joseph Panaro, who was promoted to Senior Vice President, Senior Credit Officer.

Panaro joined the Centric Bank team in 2019 as Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer with more than 25 years of lending and credit experience with financial institutions. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Chester County program sponsored by the United Way. He is a member of the Rotary Club of West Chester and has served as treasurer of the Chester County Family Academy for more than 13 years and as the president of the Chester County Family Academy Foundation for more than five years.

He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from East Stroudsburg University.

Two team members, Troup and Connor, were promoted to Assistant Vice President, Credit Team Lead. In this role, they are responsible for managing the credit requests in their market area and working with lenders and borrowers throughout the underwriting process.

Connor will lead the underwriting efforts of the Devon Lending Team. He joined the bank in 2019 as Credit Analyst III and has more than 16 years of experience in the banking industry. He received his bachelor’s degree in business management from Moravian College and serves as Board Treasurer of the West Chester Area Senior Center.

Troup will lead the underwriting efforts of the Doylestown Lending Team. She has more than 18 years of banking experience and joined Centric Bank in 2018 as Credit Analyst III.
