Busy Corner in West Chester Gains ‘a Fun Place’ for a Burger and Brew
A new restaurant and bar, Stove & Tap, has opened its doors at the former site of Landmark Americana in West Chester, writes Bill Rettew for the Daily Local News.
The restaurant, which is owned by Joe Monnich and Justin Weathers, will serve New American cuisine, modern gastropub fare, craft beers, and cocktails.
“Our food menu is ever-changing, using the freshest, local ingredients prepared to perfection,” said Weathers. “Our mission is simple: to provide our guests with a dynamic dining experience in an exciting environment filled with big flavor and big personality.”
The co-owners, who also operate Stove & Tap restaurants in Malvern and Lansdale, among their other suburban eateries, were excited to bring their latest restaurant to a walkable area.
“This is our first restaurant in a community and on a busy corner,” said Monnich.
The eatery has 80 seating spaces downstairs, as well as a room with a different entrance to the dining and bar area. This offers video games, billiards, foosball tables, a dartboard, and more.
“It is a very fun place to go,” said Weathers.
