Update: Tracking Where COVID-19 Has Spread the Most in Chester County Over the Last Seven Days

COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc all over the nation, and locally, some areas of Chester County have been affected more than others, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code statewide for the seven days ending Jan. 13, compared to infection rates for the seven days prior.

The highest percentage increase in Chester County during this period was recorded in ZIP Code 19362 (Nottingham). Here, the number of confirmed cases grew from 231 to 266, or 15 percent.

ZIP Code 19352 (Lincoln University) is next, with an increase from 334 to 379, or 13 percent.

Meanwhile, ZIP Code 19390 (West Grove) once again recorded one of the highest rises in cases at 12 percent, going from 715 to 799.

ZIP Code 19465 (South Pottstown) also recorded an increase of 12 percent, moving from 570 to 636 cases.

Finally, ZIP code 19330 (Cochranville) went up from 229 to 254 cases, or 11 percent.
