Paul Karalis, owner of Karalis Mechanical Services in Broomall, is bringing a light-and-sound wonderland to brighten this holiday season in a year when people may not feel much like celebrating, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Daily Times.

Hoping to end 2020 on a festive note, Karalis teamed with JMW Entertainment Group in Garnet Valley to create a bright spot at 2035 Sproul Road in the heart of Marple Township.

“I deal with a lot of people in the community, and I know some people are having a tough time. So, I felt it was my responsibility to do something to help people feel positive around the holidays,” said Karalis, a lifelong resident.

His HVAC and generator installation business, Karalis Mechanical Services, sits in a high-profile spot, across from the Wawa on Sproul Road.

Now, there’s a 10-minute light and music show featuring a 28-foot-tall Christmas tree that runs from dusk to 10 PM.

Long-time friend John Wolk, owner of JMW Entertainment Group, helped set up the lights and music display. JMW provides sound and lighting systems and audio and visual support to corporate and school events.
