Christmas dinners may look a smidge different this year, what with this COVID-19 mess and social distancing and all. So, how about a lovely takeout dinner from your local place?

Don’t worry about cooking, facetime with your family and sit back and relax, all the while supporting local restaurants. And if you can’t order takeout right now, consider getting a gift card for a future meal or as a gift for someone else to support local eateries.

Here are just a few of our favorite Christmas takeout restaurants.

Paloma’s Restaurant, new in Phoenixville (located at 101 Bridge Street, 484-302-7830), offers fresh pastries in their market as well as carryout specials for dinner, like French onion soup, marinated steak and grilled asparagus, cod, crab cakes, escargot, lobster bisque, tuna tartare, salads, and fromage and charcuterie boards.

Desserts include Buche de Noel, flourless chocolate torte, crème brulee, butterscotch budino, and so much more! Order online here.

Spring Hollow Golf Club’s Bar & Grille (located at 3350 Schuylkill Road in Spring City, 610-948-5566) is offering Christmas takeout that feeds 8-10 guests. Family-style takeout ensures your family will be happily full as they drift off to sleep!

Choose between herb-encrusted prime rib or honey pineapple-glazed ham with squash, salad, au gratin potatoes, green beans, roasted sweet potatoes and a choice of apple cobbler or pecan pie.

Loch Nairn Golf Club – The Farmhouse, Greathouse, and Tavern Restaurants (located at 514 McCue Road in Avondale, 610-268-2235 or 610-268-0824). If you can’t cook for your family or friends on Christmas, let Loch Nairn provide the beautiful meal for you and your family.

They are offering Christmas dinner takeout plus adult and regular beverage takeout with your meal. Please inquire when you place your order as to what is being offered. Pickup will be Thursday, December 24, between the hours of 1-5 PM.

Amazing starters like shrimp & avocado with a curry lime sauce, creamy mushroom soup with local mushrooms, Caesar salad, house pate, plus a main course with salad, potato, and vegetable. The entrees include Farmhouse crab cakes, angus center-cut filet mignon, surf & turf – crispy duck and farmhouse crab cake, and pan-seared salmon and shrimp. Desserts in cheesecake, key lime pie, and chocolate mousse.

*Please check with each restaurant regarding food and beverage availability, takeout and delivery, current hours, mask requirements, social distancing, and other COVID-19 protocols. Please respect the establishments that you visit.
