Auditor II

This position assists in conducting financial audits of departments and agencies as mandated by county and state requirements; conducts attestation engagements and other special reviews or audits; and assists in completing an annual risk assessment of auditable entities.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline; one to three years of external, internal, and/or government audit experience; working knowledge of GAAP, GAGAS, and internal audit standards; and strong organization and communication skills.

Hearing Officer

This position presides over record hearings in support, divorce, equitable distribution, and alimony; presides over juvenile delinquency and dependency matters; researches and writes equitable distribution reports; and presides over settlement conferences with counsel.

The ideal candidate will possess a juris doctorate from an accredited law school and license to practice law in Pennsylvania; 10 years of recent legal experience with complex family law litigation; and experience handling valuation, equitable distribution, and alimony issues in divorce cases.

SSS III – District Attorney

This position works with district justice staff to coordinate court schedules; aids assistant district attorneys with court preparation; prepares and schedules private criminal complaints for review; and answers questions regarding preliminary hearing procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and one to two years of general office experience; previous experience in the legal field or a paralegal certification; general computer skills; and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
