Owner Plans $10 Million Renovation, Rebranding of Corporate Center in Tredyffrin Township
Haverford Properties is planning to invest $10 million into the renovations of Evolve campus in Wayne and is also rebranding the 41-acre property as Eagle Yards, writes Natalie Kostelni for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The campus was originally known as the Woods, before it was renamed Evolve IP Corporate Center. The planned name is a nod to the street it sits on – Old Eagle School Road – along with Eagle Village, the nearby retail center.
“It’s something that makes sense because it resonates with the street and location,” said Charlie Houder of Haverford Properties.
He said that the company also considered the fact that this was a sizable lot in Tredyffrin Township with a Wayne address.
“We wanted to come up with a name that evoked that sense of openness and space and within a verdant, green, walkable community,” he said.
Haverford Properties acquired the property earlier this year for $60.8 million. The company then decided that the 12-building office park could use some exterior and interior renovations and a new wayfinding system.
The campus currently has 80 tenants and a few pockets of vacant space.
