Valley Forge Military Academy and College has entered into an innovative partnership with Citizens’ High School (CHS), a leader in online high school education, to establish Valley Forge Military Academy Online High School (VFMA OHS).

“This partnership marks the beginning of an exciting journey for our organizations,” said Jim Etter, CEO of CHS. “The landscape in secondary education is evolving rapidly, and we’re proud to combine our talents with Valley Forge Military Academy to offer students the ability to earn a diploma with a name they trust.”

Prior to the current pandemic, the number of students enrolled in at least one online course in the U.S. was growing at a steady pace. Now, due to the normalization of online learning, the demand for accredited online diplomas is burgeoning at a rate incomprehensible just a few months ago.

VFMA OHS is ideally positioned to serve students with a leading-edge e-learning experience, regardless of location or circumstance. The VFMA OHS courses are designed by subject matter experts to engage students in an adaptive learning environment by incorporating virtual reality labs, gamification, and assessments to strengthen students’ critical thinking and communication skills.

“I am very excited to partner with Citizens’ High School,” said Dr. Paul M. Lea IV, Dean of VFMA. “Our collaboration promises to allow the highest and best use of our collective resources to provide students the opportunity to obtain a high school diploma. This also enhances our course offerings to our cadets at Valley Forge Military Academy – a definite value-add.”
