The coronavirus weighs heavily on us all. Given the shutdown orders issued by Gov. Tom Wolf for many Pennsylvania counties, including Chester County, all branches of the YMCA of Greater Brandywine will close through Sunday, March 29.

Stay Connected

The mission of the YMCA is to serve and strengthen all in our community. During this unprecedented time, we know it’s more important than ever to support our community in every way we can. Staying active and maintaining connections is vital. Even though our branches are closed, we can still continue to do this safely.

Join us on Y360

Today, we invite you to immediately become part of a brand-new and exciting initiative, Y360, led by several YMCAs across the country. It features group exercise classes you can begin today virtually. It’s your favorite classes, our top instructors, and the Y community now available at home. Learn more here. And start taking classes now.

Our team is rapidly developing additional ways to support our community virtually. Please watch your email, our website and Facebook for more information in the coming days.

Financial Impact

Finally, we know there are questions about fees and payments. This situation has a financial impact on you, as well as the YMCA. We are working through these details as quickly as possible and will be communicating shortly.

As always, please take care of yourself and one another. Our community is strong, and together, we will get through this.
