The Pennsylvania Department of Education recently published the results of the 2019 SATs, showing that Chester County is home to 13 of the state’s 100 highest-scoring public high schools, writes Ethan Lott for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Three schools scored in the Top 10 statewide, while two more made the Top 25.
The highest-scoring school in Chester County was Downingtown STEM Academy, which placed second in Pennsylvania with a composite average of 1359. The composite average is the aggregate of math and reading/writing scores.
