Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust Ushers in Holiday Season with Annual Children’s Christmas Party

By

For the past 21 years, the staff and board of Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust, a community bank committed to improving the quality of life in the communities it serves, have delighted children and parents with an Annual Children’s Christmas Party.

More than 500 people recently attended this year’s party at the Colonial Theatre, and they were greeted by Frosty the Snowman and, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Children of all ages enjoyed hand stamps, free popcorn, soda, and a holiday cartoon. The younger set eagerly waited to whisper in Santa’s ear and left with photo evidence, as well as a candy cane from Mrs. Claus.

The historic pipe organ, played by Wayne Zimmerman, bellowed familiar Christmas carols as everyone sang along. Following the cartoon, Disney’s Prep & Landing, the house lights revealed a stage full of gifts donated by the bank’s staff. These gifts were raffled off to the children, and no one left empty-handed!

Stuffed animals were tossed into the crowd, and each child received a goody bag complete with a dollar coin and plenty of chocolate.

Free tickets were available at each of the bank’s five branches: in Phoenixville, Kimberton, Collegeville, Royersford, and Limerick. “Admission” to the party was a jar of peanut butter, which in turn was donated to the Phoenixville Area Community Services. PACS benefits local families by helping them get through difficult or challenging periods in their lives by providing assistance through food distribution.
