Hankin Group’s Vision of Community Manifested in Forthcoming Weatherstone Town Center

Weatherstone Town Center

Long before “urbanizing the suburbs” became the trend in real estate development, Hankin Group had conceived of a plan for the 300-acre Weatherstone to become a mixed-use community amidst the rolling farmlands and country estates of Chester Springs.

This village already consists of more than 270 single-family homes and townhouses that gracefully complement the area’s pastoral beauty.

An additional 200-plus apartments, as well as almost 100,000 square feet of retail/professional office space, will be constructed as the Weatherstone Town Center to further integrate home and community life.

“A lot of developers in Exton and King of Prussia have been putting up a lot of multi-family apartment units mixed with retail,” said Stacy Martin, Hankin Group’s Director of Commercial Leasing. “But what Hankin had envisioned years ago was more of a community.”

Hankin Group recently hosted a Broker Open House to showcase the commercial space that will be available for leasing. When complete, the Weatherstone Town Center will offer dining, entertainment, professional services, shopping, and luxury apartments. It will be the perfect place for retailers who are looking to expand in and into a new suburban “downtown.”

“People want to live in the same place, where they can go for a walk and have a really nice dinner,” said Sam Sherrill, Hankin Group’s Commercial Leasing Manager. “Hankin Group has done an excellent job of building these really intricate, wonderful, community-based developments.”

Weatherstone is located near the intersection of Routes 401 and 100 in West Vincent Township, four miles from the Downingtown Turnpike Interchange (Exit 312) and minutes from Route 202 and the Main Line.
