Nonprofit in Frazer That Provides Women in Need ‘Wings for Success’ Opens Second Location
Wings for Success – a Frazer-based nonprofit that provides apparel, advice, and advocacy to women in need – recently celebrated the grand opening of its Kennett Square location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce.
Located in the New Garden Shopping Center, this new space will enhance the organization’s ability to help women obtain the clothing, advice, and employment preparation needed to become self-sufficient.
“We are proud to see Wings for Success expand and open their new location in Kennett Square,” said Cheryl Kuhn, the chamber’s President and CEO. “I am extremely impressed with their commitment to our community and excited to share in their dedication to making a difference for the women of Chester County.”
Since 1997, Wings for Success has helped nearly 12,000 women, and its actions are guided by an ongoing commitment to assist women in need by providing guidance, support, and work-appropriate apparel.
“The location was chosen to better empower the women of Kennett Square to pursue employment and economic security through apparel, advice, and advocacy,” said Jill Laufenberg, Executive Director of Wings for Success.
