Iron Hill Brewery is planning to open its first full-scale production brewery next summer at The Shops on Eagleview Boulevard in Uwchlan Township, writes Brad Rhen for the Daily Local News.

The forthcoming Iron Hill Brewery & Taphouse will increase Iron Hill’s overall brewing capacity and serve as an innovative kitchen for future menu offerings for the entire company.

“Iron Hill Brewery & Taphouse is the next logical step in our expansion efforts to make sure we are staying true to our commitment of serving the freshest beer, maintaining our high standards, and encouraging our brewers to experiment,” said CEO Kim Boerema.

The initial capacity of the new brewery will be 6,000 barrels of beer annually, with plans to increase that to 20,000 barrels per year.

The location the company chose for its latest expansion has more than 18,000 square feet. Of that, 10,000 will house the brewery and the 4,500 will be home to the taproom. Also, a training room will be used as a private dining room with around 150 seats.

In addition to signature and seasonal beers, the taproom will offer brews unique to the location.
