Free Rides Exist After All as New Zero-Emission Transportation Service Debuts in West Chester

By

West Chester Free Ride, a zero-emission transportation service that offers free rides on its mobile advertising platform while supporting local businesses and corporate brands with highly visible impressions, officially launched in the borough over the weekend.

Operating initially on weekend evenings and expanding to daily service based on rider demand, West Chester Free Ride enables riders to reserve a free ride online, call/text on demand, leave reviews, and check out sponsor offers – all from their smartphone with no app download required.

All reservations receive a confirmation of their pickup with links to local businesses’ marketing promotions.

“We have a brand-new fleet of street-legal, fully licensed, and insured golf cars,” said Keith Hontz, co-founder and president of West Chester Free Ride.

“Keith came to me about a year and a half go with the idea, and we thought it was great,” said Mark Yoder, president of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce. “What they’ve done is fantastic. I’m so proud that this is a reality in West Chester.”

For businesses interested in becoming sponsors, contact West Chester Free Ride via e-mail at sales@wcfreeride.com to explore signage options.
