Fitness Professional from Kennett Square Inspires Women Struggling to Find Time for Themselves

By

Angela Cruz

Kennett Square resident Angela Cruz, a certified personal trainer and health coach, starts her workday mornings with an early-morning ritual, writes Laura Brzyski for the Philadelphia magazine.

Cruz wakes up at 3:30 AM on Monday through Friday to ensure she has enough time for coffee and journaling.

She runs a virtual business that helps women busy with juggling work and life to achieve their health and fitness goals. She also works at the YMCA, where she monitors the wellness studio and does personal training, in addition to facilitating a weight loss program.

Despite working a full-time job and growing her business, Cruz puts a top priority on her health and well-being. This includes making sure her body gets enough proper nutrients each day, getting enough sleep, and maintaining a positive outlook on life.

Her goal as a fitness professional and a young woman living with a chronic thyroid condition is to be an inspiration to all the women struggling to find time for themselves by sustaining ”healthy living goals in simple and convenient ways that feel good and fit my busy schedule,” said Cruz.
