Laura Wagoner and Alex Manion of Malvern found the perfect spot for their engagement photos at Workhorse Brewing in King of Prussia, writes Sarah Zlotnick for Philadelphia magazine.

At first, they were going back and forth on even having photos, as both found them somewhat corny. Wagoner, a Phoenixville native, even joked that they shouldn’t even do the photos unless pizza and beer were involved.

That was the moment they decided to have some low-key photos done in a local winery or brewery, with Wagoner’s high school friend Marisa Hamalian of M. Hamalian Photography taking the photos.

The bride-to-be called up Workhorse Brewing to make arrangements, and the owners were happy to accommodate the happy couple.

“The brewery has a very good industrial vibe, so it was a cool spot to do something ‘different’ with our photos,” said Wagoner.

The two are now planning to tie the knot at The Desmond next spring.
