WCHE 1520, a radio station based in West Chester, brings Chester County residents all the important news and entertainment from a local perspective, writes Bill Rettew for the Daily Local News.

Doug Stirling and Bill Mason, co-hosts of the “Morning Magazine,” have for years been the first voices many people hear in the morning. Among other topics of conversation, the pair usually focuses on a Chester County-centric subject of the day, mulling it around themselves and with guests and the audience.

The co-hosts rely heavily on the Internet. They can effortlessly pull up information, such as traffic reports for the area and the weather forecast.

There are plenty of other fascinating and attention-grabbing shows available at the same frequency. Donna Saul explores new age and all manner of fascinating stuff, while Kyle Hudson’s show on Fridays provides fun coverage of pop culture and comic books.

Also, newscaster Julia Sherwin provides important updates at noon, and the guys of Sports Chatter of Chester County make sure to keep everybody up to date on the local sports landscape.
