West Chester East High School senior Cormac Dooley has traveled the world playing FIFA and must now decide between going to college or taking a gap year to advance his professional video-gaming career, writes Noah Davis for ESPN.com.

Dooley, the winner of eMLS League Season 1 and Season 2 and a Philadelphia Union pro gamer, is also an accomplished soccer player beyond video games. However, his aspirations to play Division I college soccer and possibly go pro have taken a back seat as his career as a pro gamer has taken off.

“Lately, it seems like when we have a game, it conflicts with my travel,” said Dooley.

Dooley’s eSports career is certainly on an upward trajectory. In addition to two seasons of eMLS, he recently won the eMLS Cup and took home a $25,000 grand prize. He also secured a spot representing the U.S. in the first FIFA eNations Cup.

However, he has also been accepted to several colleges, and now has until May 1 to make a decision on whether he wants to go.
