Nearly 1,000 fans recently descended upon Castle Bam, the home of former Jackass star and West Chester native Bam Margera, for a massive party, writes Nick Vadala for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Margera invited skateboarders from the Philadelphia area to come to his property. They were there to help him tear down the skating ramps, so he can replace them with a specially designed skateboarding bowl from skateboarding pro Danny Way.

The entry fee was double the advertized $20. But the evening included live performances from rapper Mike Nappi, People’s Blues of Richmond, Valiant Thor, and Philadelphia emcees Freeway and Beanie Sigel.

Fans also got to enjoy a final skating session, with some even skating over burning pieces of the ramps as the bands played.

During the party, Margera was there to sign memorabilia, take photos with fans, and make sure everything went as planned.
