The Delaware County landmark that is Charlie’s Hamburgers could not be denied.

The iconic burger joint in Folsom rates among the Top 25 burger restaurants in Greater Philadelphia, according to Yelp reviews, writes Alison Burdo for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Yelp provides ratings based on reviews left by customers that show the preferences of local residents, along with the occasional traveler.

Located at 336 Kedron Avenue, Charlie’s Hamburgers is a Delco institution that offers well-seasoned burgers full of fatty beef flavor. The restaurant has a solid four-star rating from 199 reviews.

“This made-to-order burger joint has been around since 1935, and it is a delicious retro gem!” wrote one reviewer.

“The burgers here are the real deal,” states another review. “They are the traditional burger, the kind that you can’t really get anymore. They are flavorful and the meat patty sits in a cloud of a bun, fluffy and delicious.”
