Romance Author, New London Township Resident Enjoys Living, Writing in Chester County

Mariah Stewart, a prolific author of romance novels who lives in New London Township, published two new books – The Sugarhouse Blues and Dune Drive – over the summer, writes Steven Hoffman for the Chester County Press.

The accomplished author is used to working at a fast pace. So far, she has written and published 40 novels and novellas and is now juggling two separate book series.

“This is my job. It’s what I do every day,” she said.

Stewart, a native of New Jersey, says she enjoys living and writing in Chester County. Over the years, she has held numerous book signings in local bookstores. She also meets up regularly with a local group of writers to kick around different ideas.

She published her first book 23 years ago. Since then, she has built an ardent following, with her two latest books generating a lot of excitement among readers.

The Sugarhouse Blues is the second novel in the Hudson Sisters series, while Dune Drive is the 12th book in her popular Chesapeake Diaries series.
