Mary Kay Owen is seeking opportunities that capitalize on her communication, community outreach, networking, and project management skills. Expert planning and flawless execution of projects and events are her forte.

Owen commits herself on every level to delivering results – on time and with a collaborative style. In her marketing role for area shopping centers managed by PREIT and The Rouse Company, she created ROI through various sponsorships and seasonal activities. She was also integral to the establishment of the Chester County Art Association Exton Square Studio and several signature community events that benefited retailers and the community – a win for all.

Since leaving her role as marketing director for the Exton Square Mall, Owen has contributed to the Chester County Economic Development Council on the marketing committee, worn many hats working on the inaugural Coatesville Vintage Grand Prix, taken on fulfilling special assignments teaching in the Coatesville Area School District, and become a frequent editorial contributor to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Owen has also enjoyed networking and connecting people to opportunities and resources. A recent fascinating contract project demonstrated her versatility, as it involved researching and reporting on cloud-computing data centers throughout Europe and the Middle East for an international tech company.

She is enthusiastically exploring organizations committed to growth and the next step in fulfilling their mission. An ideal role would require strong accountability, integrity, relationship-building, collaboration, and communication competencies.

Resilience and persistence are key to any worthwhile achievement, and that is how Owen has viewed her job search as well. She approaches obstacles as opportunities. Her transition has allowed her to learn new skills and discover aptitudes she didn’t realize she had.
