An online-only auction of coins and jewelry on May 23 conducted by Downingtown’s Pook & Pook will include rare, colonial-era currency, according to a report from Antique Trader magazine.
The auction will offer both new and old U.S. currency, and is sure to draw numismatists eager to own early American tender.
There will also be Confederate currency from Virginia, Alabama, South Carolina, and Georgia.
The items will be available exclusively on Bidsquare. Live online bidding will start at 9 AM on May 23 with gallery exhibitions on May 21 and 22.
