Check Out the Most Expensive House to Rent in Chester County

By

The most expensive home for rent in Chester County is a five-bedroom, five-bathroom house in Newtown Square, in the Great Valley School District, for $7,000 per month, writes Sandy Smith for Philadelphia magazine.

Located at 959 Garrett Mill Road, the expansive property is surrounded by protected land and is actually two homes in one.

The original home is a one-room schoolhouse constructed in the 1850s. Today, the building serves as a beautiful great room with a beamed ceiling and fireplace.

The second house is a significantly larger Colonial added in 2002. It includes a gracious and elegant space that offers everything one need’s for relaxing and entertaining.

The combined home features a formal living room, dining room, and a combination of kitchen and great room just beyond the center entrance hall. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and the best in cabinetry and features, while the great room includes an appealing stone fireplace.

The kitchen and the living room are connected though a butler’s pantry that has its own bar with mini-fridge, sink, and glass-front china cabinets.

The home also offers plenty of storage room and a three-car garage.
