Adjunct Instructor

Delaware County Community College seeks several Adjunct professors to teach day and evening Mathematics, English, Reading, Computer Science, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Economics, HVAC/R and Construction Safety classes for the Fall 2018 semester at it’s Pennocks Bridge Campus in West Grove.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in the discipline and appropriate teaching experience.

Coordinator of Disability Services (Downingtown Campus)

The Coordinator of Disability Services is responsible for working with faculty and staff to provide reasonable accommodations to students with disabilities at branch campuses. This includes reviewing documentation, meeting with students and professors, coordinating accommodations, advising and conducting workshops.

The Coordinator will be located at the Downingtown campus with regular hours at the Exton and Pennocks Bridge campuses, as well as the Southeast and Upper Darby Centers.

This part time administrative position requires a flexible schedule to meet departmental needs, including evening and extended hours. The Coordinator must have the ability and willingness to travel on short notice, to all branch campuses as needed by the College.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in area of Higher Education, Counseling, Student Affairs or related discipline, a minimum of 1-2 years of experience providing disability services in higher education, and have a knowledge of disability rights legislation including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and all applicable disability statutes.
