YMCA of Greater Brandywine Opens Its Doors to Everyone Through the Gift of Health

The holiday shopping might not be done, but the YMCA of Greater Brandywine already has the best present of the season.

The Y is welcoming the whole community by offering the Gift of Health this December.

Anyone in Chester County 18 years or older with a valid ID can use their local YMCA branch’s facilities for free from Dec. 26-31. Children under the age of 18 are welcome to visit with a parent or guardian.

There’s no need to wait until New Year’s Day to start working on those fitness goals when you can get a jump start with access to the Y’s facilities. Anyone who signs up for a 12-month membership during the week will have the $99 joiner fee waived.

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine offers a unique atmosphere that combines the best of a healthy lifestyle with a vibrant, upbeat social community. No matter people’s go-to workout, there’s something to do at the Y, ranging from swimming in the indoor pools to personal training to group exercise classes and everything in between.

It’s that wide range of activities that make the Y the place to be. The best part? With branches in Coatesville, Jennersville, Kennett, Lionville, Berwyn, Octorara, and West Chester, there’s a branch that’s always accessible for all Chester County residents.
